Position Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and the mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to production equipment
• Manages projects as it is related to cost and schedule
• Fabricates and assembles machine control components, wiring, and equipment
• Applications of mechanical assembly techniques to bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Reads and interprets complex electrical and mechanical blueprints
• Participates in team building, training, and department communications
• Communicates with fabrication and engineering for support services
• Enters information into daily logbook

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for the length of the assigned shift
• Must be able to utilize both hands
• Must be able to visually examine the product for quality
• Must be able to effectively communicate with others
• Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team
• Must be able to work assigned hours
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record

Required Experience:

• Prior industrial maintenance experience is required
• Prior technical experience is required
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and computer literacy
• Must provide own tools
